Boarding

A ticket is good for one trip only, so passengers must purchase two tickets for a roundtrip. Tickets cannot be reused. After purchasing your tickets, stand behind the yellow and blue safety lines on the platform to wait for the train. For boarding assistance, wait on the ramp. The conductor will check and validate your ticket on board, and will announce each station stop.

Special Accessibility Needs

All trains and stations are fully accessible. If you are hearing impaired, tell the conductor where you want to exit when you board.

Bicycles

Bicycles may be stored in the wheelchair sections of each car, provided the areas are unused. Passengers must supply their own bungees to secure bikes.

Passenger Code of Conduct

Please follow these rules so the Music City Star commute is pleasant for everyone:

  • Purchase ticket before boarding.
  • One seat per passenger; keep feet off seats.
  • Packages and luggage are subject to search at any time.
  • No weapons are allowed on the train at any time.
  • Smoking and use of tobacco products are prohibited.
  • Keep food and drinks in closed containers.
  • Put trash in waste receptacles.
  • Service animals are allowed on board.
  • Use your inside voice
  • Use cell phone etiquette and avoid “cell yell” when using your phone.
  • Headphones must be used with radios, i-Pods and CD and MP3 players.
  • Any disruptive or threatening behavior should be reported immediately to the conductor.
